Academic Curriculum

English Language Arts and Reading  -   “Reading and Writing like everything else, improves with practice.  And, of course, if there are no young readers, and writers, there will shortly be no older ones either”  Margaret Atwood

At Athlos Leadership Academy-Premier we provide opportunity for every child to practice in their learning to become proficient readers and writers beginning in Kindergarten.

Math -  “One of the most amazing things about Mathematics… is that it is truly a beautiful art form.  It is structures and patterns, and that is what we love”  Danica McKellar

At Athlos Leadership Academy-Premier,  Math courses are designed for students to move from concrete to abstract thinking, thereby providing and smooth transition from elementary to the more increasingly and demanding level of higher order thinking.

Science - “Science is a way of life.  Science is a perspective, Science is the process that takes us from confusion to understanding in a manner that is precise, predictive, and reliable- a transformation, for those lucky enough to experience it, that is empowering and emotional”.  Brian Greene

At Athlos Leadership Academy-Premier, Science classes are fun and innovative!  Students learn by hands on and engaging activities, take part in field experiences, science fairs and research.

Social Studies -  “The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future”.  Theodore Roosevelt

At Athlos Leadership Academy-Premier, students are inundated with the importance of  learning about history and its events,  historical figures and leaders, and cultures.  They analyze and extract the multiple perspectives from past events that they can adopt to make an even greater impact on society as future leaders.

Extracurricular -  “Creativity is intelligence having fun”.  Albert Einstein

In addition to the wonderful, innovative design of our Athlos Training classes, we provide additional extra curricular activities such as:  competitive sports for upper elementary students (3rd-5th) Middle School Leagues (6th-8th) for soccer, basketball, volleyball and softball.  We also offer drama and band as well as parenting classes and GED for adults.
